Join Our Team as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

As a hospice and palliative nurse practitioner, you will care for seriously ill patients to help alleviate burdensome symptoms and align medical treatments with patients' goals and values. You will collaborate with a team of like-minded clinicians and teammates to deliver the best care possible for your patients wherever they call home. As an active member of the medical community in your territory, you will provide both ongoing palliative care and hospice service and education.

Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [state]
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in a relevant specialty area
- Experience working in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and medical documentation
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles and practices
- Ability to perform basic medical procedures such as catheterization and tube feeding
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including the ability to take accurate vital signs
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
